Here we have a customer who had started suffering with arthritis and was struggling to push her toilet flush button 💙

We installed a brand new concealed cistern with a touchless flush, making things much easier day-to-day 🚿✨ Now, all she has to do is wave her hand over the sensor… and happy flushing! 😃🙌

Boiler Upgrade Complete! 🔥

The old Glow-worm combi had seen better days, and its flue was tucked away in a boxing, totally inaccessible, which isn’t allowed. ✅

We’ve installed a brand new Alpha Etec 33 NX combi boiler with a Premier Pack for an extra 2 years warranty. Plus, we added removable vent covers so all flue joints are now fully accessible and up to current regulations.

Fully commissioned, Gas Safe registered, and handed over to a happy customer! 😃

🚽 The Toilet Job…

We were called out to a failed toilet that caused water damage, lifting the Karndean flooring and blowing the skirting boards, not to mention leaving an unpleasant smell for the customer 🤢

Here’s what we did:

🔧 Removed the old toilet

🔧 Took up the damaged flooring

🔧 Removed the blown skirting boards

🔧 Dried the area thoroughly with a fan heater

Once everything was ready, we returned to:

✨ Fit brand new flooring

✨ Install new skirting boards

✨ Fit a brand new close-coupled toilet

All sorted and back to looking as good as new 🙌

The lads have been busy this week carrying out Landlord Gas Safety Checks across a number of properties.

The image shows us putting a test on the gas meter to ensure it’s holding pressure correctly. After completing the test, we spray the test ni**le to check for any potential gas leaks. This is a simple but essential step that helps confirm the system is safe and sealed properly before we leave the property.

💡 Why are Landlord Gas Safety Certificates important?

Landlords have a legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances, pipework and flues in their rental properties are safe. An annual Landlord Gas Safety Check (CP12) ensures:

✔️ Gas appliances are working safely and efficiently

✔️ There are no dangerous gas leaks

✔️ Tenants are protected from risks such as carbon monoxide

✔️ The property stays compliant with legal safety regulations

Full toilet refurbishment completed 💪

We started with a complete rip-out back to bare walls, then rebuilt the space from the ground up.

🔧 Work carried out:

🧱 Mermaid wet wall panels fitted to all walls

🦺 New non-slip flooring installed

🚪 Brand new toilet cubicles

🚽 New toilets & urinals fitted

🪚 Custom sink unit built and finished with mermaid boarding

✅ Fully commissioned

🤝 Handed over to a happy customer

Out with the old, in with the new 🔧🔥

This job started with a 30-year-old, outdated and inefficient combi boiler. The customer decided it was finally time for an upgrade, so we removed the old unit and installed a brand new Alpha E-Tec 33 condensing boiler.

These modern boilers recycle gases back through the system to help heat the water again, improving efficiency, lowering gas bills, and reducing CO₂ emissions ♻️

While we were there, the customer also upgraded their radiator valves to brand new TRVs, giving them much better control over the heating system throughout the house.

To finish the job, we installed an Alpha WiFi-enabled programmable room thermostat, allowing full control of the heating straight from their phone 📱

Another clean install and one very happy customer 😃

Motorised Valve Replacement 🔥

Yesterday we replaced a faulty motorised valve that was preventing the heating and hot water from working properly.

The motorised valve acts as the “traffic controller” of your heating system, directing hot water to either your radiators, your hot water cylinder, or both.

When it fails, you can be left with no heating, no hot water or sometimes both stuck on constantly‼️
