😇⚡️Another very busy week at DES! ⚡️😇

"Our 'contract Holder' called me on a Saturday saying her shower was not working and could I call an Electrician. I gave her some instructions to follow, which she did and all was well.
Until, VERY early the following Sunday morning she called again saying the shower keeps tripping out and wont stay on.
Our CH needed a shower for a urgent meeting she had to attend, so was desperate for the shower.
Our Electrician [who did the recent EICR we tried to contact via WA. We cold not get a reply. I spent a frantic hour or so trying to find and get hold of an Electrician near to the house.
Our 'CH' found Dale Electrical who said he could call out that morning.
He contacted me as the Landlord to check my approval to do the work.

Dale duly sourced the problem and rectified it. He followed up by explaining the issue and what he did to rectify it.
I was also impressed by the value of his service considering it was a Sunday morning emergency.
I will use Dale again in the future, when needed.
I recommend him and recommend him to landlords too.

⚡️ A recent job was upgrading an outdated fuse board to a full RCBO consumer unit with built in surge protection.
⚡️ The RCBOs now give additional protection to the customer to prevent electric shock.
They also allow the customer to be able to reset the trip switch on each individual circuit instead of the whole board tripping out.
⚡️ The surge protection device (SPD) is installed to protect any sensitive equipment from getting damaged should any surge or lighting strike occur.⚡️
⚡️ This new consumer unit is metal to stop the spread of fire.
