🌳 Sycamore Tree Removal 🌳

This sycamore had become a little too friendly with the neighbouring property, with the canopy extending well beyond where it should.

Being in competition with the surrounding trees, it had grown very one-sided in its search for light, creating an unbalanced structure.

To add to the challenge, the tree was positioned at the top of a very steep bank, requiring careful planning and dismantling throughout the job.

Rather than removing the stump completely, the trunk has been left in place to regenerate and, more importantly, to keep the root system alive and help stabilise the bank.

Another tricky job completed safely and professionally by MH Tree Services 👌🏻

🌸 A Day Out in Battersea for a Magnolia Reduction 🌳

We were recently called out by one of our customers to carry out a reduction on this stunning Magnolia in Battersea.

A bit of a change of scenery for us - but not a problem at all 👌🏻 and honestly, it turned into a really nice day trip out.

The tree had become a little too large for its space, so we carefully reduced and reshaped the crown to bring it back under control while keeping its natural form and health in mind.

Magnolias don’t always love being worked on, so it was all about taking our time, making precise cuts, and ensuring it still looks beautiful going forward 🌿

It’s always satisfying working on ornamental trees like this - they’re not just about size control, but about maintaining shape, structure and future flowering potential.

Another happy customer and a Magnolia ready to thrive again ✂️
