Another successful fire alarm upgrade completed by the CFS team! 👏🔥

This week we upgraded the fire alarm system at a local Parish Council office and community centre, replacing an ageing 2-zone conventional system with a modern, looped addressable system.

The building is used from morning until evening, hosting everything from breakfast clubs and dance classes to Pilates, council meetings and community groups. With so much going on, careful planning was essential. Our engineers worked around the building's busy schedule to keep disruption to an absolute minimum while delivering a safer, more reliable fire detection system.

The only thing hotter than the weather this week was the loft space... safe to say our engineers earned a cold drink after that one! 🥵🍻

Ember spotted Danny heading out to deliver some fire extinguishers, grabbed a screwdriver, climbed into the van and decided she was coming too. 🐶🔧

She's not much help with the installations, but she works for treats and fusses, keeps team morale high, and has become a firm favourite with our customers. We'd say she's earned her place on the team. ❤️

Don't worry though... all the actual fire safety work is still left to our qualified engineers!

Today we started our second fix for one of our longstanding HMO customers. Completing the basement, ground and first floor with a return visit booked for the second floor. Massive thank you to the team at Lodge_i_cal-electrics who carried out the cabling and got all the cables into position for us.

🚨 Office productivity update… 🚨

Blaze 🐱 and Ember 🐶 have been very busy at CFS HQ today…

We’re not entirely sure what they’ve achieved — but there’s been a lot of supervising, a few “security checks”, and absolutely zero fire risks detected (mainly because they’ve slept through most of the day). 😴

Blaze has taken charge of high-level operations (the desk), while Ember has been focusing on ground patrols (the comfiest spots she can find).
All in all… a solid day’s work. We think 🔥🐾

Wow, what a thrill the last few days have been. Working with one of our longstanding IT clients, we flew to Copenhagen with a days notice to carry out a Kitchen Ordering Screen Installation at a new hotel. We were very lucky to be offered a room in the hotel for the night and what a beautiful hotel it was.

We then flew into Berlin to connect to Poland to snag a few items at a store for the same client, installing 4 Access Control doors, fixing some ordering kiosks, digital signage and some network issues.

We have been working with this client since our company opened in May 2021 and they have always provided great opportunities and travel experiences and we continue to work with them to provide an efficient installation and remedial service.
