Little system conversion happened this week with the removal of and old Ideal and rads and installation of a .uk ecoTEC pro24kw five new radiators and a Lyric T6 which is now my go to smart thermostat after google nest’s withdrawal from the market. That’s all.

Back to this one from last Monday to upgrade the controls. It’s actually my first one using VR71 module and two thermostats and I have to say I’m impressed with the performance of the Vaillant controls as a whole. The VRA42 can be fitted on the 400 series as well and it works a treat.
