This morning I am sad to report that approximately £6000-£7000 worth of tools have been stolen from a premises in Rampton Road - Willingham (Cambridgeshire). Thieves forced entry to a garage where the tools were kept.

Tools and equipment stolen include; Milwaukee drills, drivers, saws, pack out kits, electrical testers, electrical measuring equipment, battery chargers, batteries, grinders, speakers, radio, angle drills, storage kits, Multitools, LED worklights, Vacuum, 12V drills.

I’m appealing to anyone who might have any knowledge about this if not, however please ensure that you recheck your outhouses and garages in the Willingham area for any valuable tools and equipment.

Tool and equipment theft is rife and unfortunately the final blow for the business to trade.

Delighted and honoured today to have been invited to UK Parliament & The House of Commons today to discuss the importance of trade careers and address the expected skills shortage of 250,000 tradespeople by 2030.

Great to see many familiar faces today of previous STTP finalists & winners, Screwfix, Kingfisher and McCann team.

It was a pleasure to meet members from the department of education and some MP’s to give an insight to what small business and local contractors are dealing with day to day.

Many thanks to Kingfisher plc, McCann and Screwfix for this amazing oppitunity and event to share and convey passion for the construction industry.
