There are many ways of dealing with a wasp nest, bashing it with a stick is one of the less practical ones!
Because the queen is still alive she marshals her workers and they start rebuilding…and defending.

Wasp season is here, it’s late after a cold wet spring but we are starting some large nests. In the picture we can see a queen wasp with a worker for size comparison from a nest that I dug up. The wasps were becoming very aggressive and had to go. Pest Rights has all the necessary equipment, skills and resources to provide the best solution to any wasp nest problem.

Ivy bee season again, this time with hover flies and hornet mimics - all harmless but fun to see

Something different today! Got a call about a snake in a garden. Conversation with the resident quickly indicated that it wasn’t a native species so I got over as soon as possible. Sure enough it was curled up behind a garden step. It was quite compliant with being relocated to a improvised container. Luckily a neighbour turned up who agreed to foster the corn snake until the owner is located

We all know wasps like sweet stuff, but look at this amazing behaviour- wasps feeding on willow sap on the tree and where aphids have dropped it on to the ground.
