We’ve recently put in these Teletonika EV chargers for one of our long term customers, UQG Ltd in Milton. These are the first Teletonika chargers we’ve installed, so it was great to add them to our latest project.

UQG Ltd also made use of the OZEV grant to help towards the cost of the installation, making the switch to EV charging a little more affordable.

Adding a battery to a solar panel system allows you to store excess electricity for use later, such as in the evening or during periods of low sunlight. This can help make better use of the energy you generate and reduce how much electricity you need from the grid.

Solar generation varies throughout the day, some energy can go unused if you’re not at home when it’s produced. A battery helps capture that surplus so it can be used when needed.

Battery systems can also be installed without solar panels, charging from the grid when prices are lower and discharging when demand (and cost) is higher.
