Meet Theresa 👋

Theresa brings over 30 years of administrative experience across both the private and public sectors. In the latter stage of her career, she served on the Senior Management Team of an electrical testing company, where she developed strong leadership and operational expertise.

At CES, her extensive knowledge helps ensure the smooth running of daily administration. She plays a key role in supporting organisational efficiency and strategic operations.

Outside of work, Theresa enjoys spending time outdoors, practising yoga, staying active, cooking and catching up with friends and family.

These are photos from a full office fit-out for a workspace at Lancaster Way Business Park. We installed LED lighting, emergency lighting and energy efficient heating throughout. Power and data were neatly integrated into skirting trunking for a neat finish, and we also added a smoke detector to the existing fire alarm system to ensure safety.

If your lights briefly dim when a big appliance starts, it’s usually caused by a temporary voltage drop. This means the appliance is drawing a large burst of power.

Common causes:
⚡ High startup power demand
🔌 Too many devices on one circuit
🏠 Loose or aging wiring
🌐 Utility power fluctuations

A small, occasional dim may be normal but frequent dimming, flickering or tripped breakers could signal an electrical issue that needs attention.

We'd recommend trying to separate onto different circuits or if it's frequent give us a call and we can inspect your wiring or panel.

"A prompt site visit led to a comprehensive quotation (at this point I had already wasted several frustrating days dealing with other firms, including the one actually recommended by the manufacturers - as well as being too slow their quote was neither convincing nor competitive).

The installation itself went like clockwork and Sean took a lot of care to do a good job, ensured I was happy with every aspect, and left no mess at all. If you are thinking of getting an EV point installed, my advice is find a local firm who will do a proper survey (instead of luring you in with a 'standard installation' price and then demand lots of details before adding mysterious extras to inflate the bill, without ever setting foot on site) and go on to do work to a very high standard.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Cambridge Evpoint as exactly that."

We’ve officially joined the world of electric vehicles! ⚡🚗

Say hello to our fully electric Fiat 500e, which will now be helping us carry out EV charger installation surveys.

A big thank you to Buckingham & Stanley Cambridge for supplying the car and for continuing to pass us EV charger installation leads, and to Sync Energy for generously providing and installing a 22kW charger at our workplace.

Now there’s just one thing left to do… Get it branded!
