Now that spring is in the air, and we have some time before the busy summer season starts again, we are looking for experienced crafters to come to our workshop and help us with some interior finishing touches on our Bedford TK conversion, so we can get Tilly back on the road.

If you are a carpenter able to work within Cambridgeshire area for a few days, and have experience in van conversions, please get in touch with us:

Merry Xmas and a happy New Year from us at TBBltd.

Things are brewing in the company and soon we will be able to share some updates on what’s happening in 2025.

In the meantime and before we share our big news, we are looking for makers with the skillset to build eco-cabins and treehouses (solar engineers and installers, timber framers, natural builders etc…), who are comfortable with working away from home in a mountainous ⛰️ environment.

And finally, we are super excited to present to you the finished bar set in its full glory.
A few shots of team stocking up the fridges just before the live event, followed by a couple live event shots from the festival, capturing our team and other beer loving punters, indulging in some chilled American ales.

We were over the moon to see the attention the bar attracted, as well as hearing the positive feedback from our client and are ready for new ventures.

Bar install in full swing followed by additional finishing touches.

At this year’s festival, our client hosted 19 American craft beer companies.

As part of our brand activation design, each brewery’s logo had been displayed on the main feature wall behind the bar, inviting its beer fans to try the chilled product straight from the fridges. These had been strategically inset flush with the feature wall for maximum efficiency for the busy bar crew, as well as being a part of the light installation and a lit up display of each beer product.

A few captions from the very beginning of the bar install day at To***co Dock.

An early morning start unloading 2 large vans, Tetris packed with the complete bar set, followed by initial preface of the main wall assembly and a quick game of puzzle, piecing the main bar together.

Sun rising, slowly warming the room and giving the impression of a hot day incoming…

Another successful event build for our amazing client at the festival at To***co Dock in London.

We have only just managed to take a deep breath and a well deserved nap and now are finally able to share some of our favourite moments from the build stage in our workshop.

Third year hat-trick on this project involved a complete re-design of the bar to suit our clients needs in the new event space. This meant extending the original U-shaped bar to a humongous 8m long bar, kitted out with additional fridge to keep the large volume of beers 🍻 nice and chilled for all the thirsty punters.

The biggest challenge was to create a set build that was completely modular, could squeeze into 2 vans and be safely delivered to the site.

‘We save the future, by rescuing the past.’

This last week we have brought back to life a beautiful old mahogany decking by carefully taking off the layers of weather and other elements of nature that imprinted on it over the time, and followed by protecting the clean wood
with a nourishing oil, setting it up for endurance in the future.

Pool house build in progress 🔨:

We have come a long way, starting off with cleaning the old base stripping the existing patio flooring, digging holes for the new concrete base, creating and binding metal cages and restoring the old bricks.

Week 2 is well and truly behind us and we are ready to jump into week 3. To see more action from the last 2 weeks keep your eyes peeled for our stories.
