Every day for over 100 years, a member of staff at the Botanic Garden has taken manual weather readings for the Met Office.

This is now the job of CUBG’s Met Office daily reader and Assistant Horticulturist, Katie Martyr. She records the Botanic Garden’s weather readings from the previous 24 hours around 10am each morning.
