Another successful Aico smoke alarm replacement completed at one of our regular HMO properties in Cambridge.

As part of our ongoing maintenance programme, we replaced ageing alarms to ensure the system continues to provide reliable protection and remains compliant with current standards, including *BS 5839-6* recommendations for domestic fire detection and alarm systems.

Ensuring correct IP ratings is essential to avoid breakdowns.

An example of this is that the enclosure housing the automatic gate controller was no longer adequate, allowing a slug to access the circuit board. This wasn’t good for the slug, but it wasn’t great for the gate controller either!
