OLD AGA BOILER 💀 inefficient, dangerous and capped by a previous firm. 1st time ive had to remove an AGA, 4 pipe system no zone valves. Big graft on this, but within 48 hrs the customers up and running with a new baxi 530.

Baxi Assure heat only replaced the old ideal which was starting to corroded and deteriorate by the sump, with some maintenance parts like the detection cable, the sump, electrodes being required. A option for a replacement boiler seemed more desirable to the customer.

Aston PHG helps in charity work from time to time, this was completed for a charity that helps homes get heating again should they be under low-income, poor living arrangements. This customer had no heating or hot water for 6 months, and the charity agreed that the costs of repair weren't a good option. So between us, this happened.

Called out to bird noises behind a fire. After removing the fire we did happen to find a rather large pigeon taking up a spare bit of room. After refusing to pay rent, he/she was safely removed and released outside. The customers having us back to do some repairs on the fire, fit a new cowl to the chimney to prevent this in future and service the fire when the parts are available.

As you can see in the reflection he managed to escape whilst I was trying to reposition my hands because I felt the wing seemed twisted in the sheet. Luckily caught it again within seconds rather than having flappy bird round the living room 😂😂
