🔥🔧 3 Port Valve Replacement Completed 🔧🔥

Another heating system back up and running after replacing a faulty 3 port motorised valve.

The customer had been experiencing issues with their heating and hot water due to the old valve failing. After diagnosing the fault, a new 3 port valve was installed to restore full operation.

🔧🚿 Meet the Newest Member of the Team! 🚿🔧

Today was a special one for AW Plumbing & Heating as my son, Oliver, got stuck in and helped change out a shower valve.
Now, before anyone worries, he wasn't left loose with the tools and van keys! 😆 But it was great to have him alongside me, learning about hard work, problem solving, and what goes into running a small business.
As parents, we all hope to pass on good values to our children, and there's something special about seeing them take an interest and want to help. Oliver was asking questions, getting involved, and taking great pride in seeing the job completed and working properly again.

The shower valve was removed and replaced, leaving us with a fully functioning shower once more. More importantly for me, it was a chance to spend some quality time with my boy and show him what a day's work looks like.

Who knows, maybe I've got a future plumber in the making.

I'm incredibly proud of him and the enthusiasm he showed today ❤️

💧🔥 New Condensate Pipe Run Completed 🔧
Attended a property today where the existing condensate pipe had become damaged and was no longer suitable.
✅ Removed damaged section of pipework
✅ Ran a brand-new condensate pipe
✅ Ensured correct fall for drainage
✅ Secured and supported pipework correctly
✅ Tested boiler operation
The boiler is now draining correctly and back up and running as it should 👍
Condensate pipework is often overlooked, but if it's damaged, poorly installed, or blocked, it can cause nuisance leaks and boiler faults. A properly installed condensate pipe helps keep your heating system running reliably all year round.

🚽🔧 Flush & Filling Valve Replacement Completed 💧
A customer was experiencing issues with their toilet constantly running and not flushing as it should. After inspecting the cistern, it was clear that both the flush and filling valve had reached the end of their life.
✅ Removed old flush valve
✅ Removed faulty filling valve
✅ Installed new modern flush and fill valve kit
✅ Adjusted water levels and tested operation
✅ Left clean, tidy and fully working
The toilet is now flushing properly, filling quietly and efficiently, with no more wasted water 👌

Out today in a well-known coffee shop in Sandwich replacing a faulty spray gun in the kitchen area.

Removed worn spray unit
Installed new spray gun
Checked pressure and operation

Carried out a radiator removal today to make way for a new doorway installation.

✅ Drained down system
✅ Removed radiator safely
✅ Pipework capped off neatly and securely
✅ System re-pressurised and tested
All ready now for the new door to go in 👌

Push Basin Tap Replaced today replacing a faulty push basin tap that had stopped working properly.

Removed old push tap
Installed new replacement
Checked operation and flow
Left clean, tidy and fully working

Now running smoothly again with no issues
Push taps are great when they work properly, but once they start sticking or failing, it's best to get them replaced.
