Tree reduction works carried out in Chestfield.

We reduced a Plum tree, a Willow and a row of Poplars to help bring the garden back under control and make the trees more manageable for the future.

Poplars and Willows can grow quickly, so keeping them maintained helps manage height, reduce weight and improve light into the garden.

A tidy bit of tree work that made the space feel more open while keeping the trees retained and manageable.

Trying to give this Willow a second chance.

This Willow in Canterbury had suffered major decline, so we pollarded it to reduce the failing canopy and try to encourage fresh growth.

Willows rely heavily on moisture, and we believe changes in the surrounding area may have affected the water source the tree had been using.

Rather than remove it completely, the aim was to retain the tree where possible and give it the best chance of recovery.

All timber was left on site in log form, with the brash stacked neatly for the client.

Bringing this Canterbury garden back under control.

We crown lifted a row of Sycamore trees to raise the lower canopy, improve clearance and allow more light into the garden.

We also carried out a hard cut back of an overgrown Wisteria that had taken over the pergola and surrounding area.

Jobs like this can make a big difference to how a garden feels — opening up the space, improving light and making everything much easier to maintain going forward.

A fresh start for this garden in Canterbury.

This overgrown conifer hedge was removed to open up the space and allow the client to move forward with new landscaping.

Conifers are great when they’re kept maintained, but once they become too large or unsuitable for the space, removing them can completely change how a garden feels.

We used our machinery and chipper to keep the job efficient, process the material on site and leave the area ready for the next stage.

Poplars are fast-growing trees and can become big, heavy trees very quickly, so jobs like this need careful planning and the right equipment.

This Poplar was safely dismantled, processed on site and cut into manageable sections, leaving the area clear and tidy once complete.

This Willow tree was removed due to concerns around its roots and its close position to the house.

Rather than doing everything by hand, we used our excavator and large chipper to make the job safer, quicker and more efficient. The digger helped move timber and load the chipper, while the chipper processed the material efficiently.

Willows are fast-growing trees and can become an issue when they’re too close to buildings, drains or garden structures.

Making this conifer hedge easier to manage for the future.

We reduced the height of this conifer hedge in Sturry to bring it back under control and make future maintenance much easier for the client.

Conifer hedges look great when they’re kept trimmed, but once they get too tall they can quickly become difficult to maintain safely.

A good reduction now means the hedge is neater, more manageable and much easier to keep on top of going forward.
