Here is a before and after illustrating our design intent for a five bedroom house in West Wales.
The render illustrates a design that harmonizes with the site's historical significance while accommodating future uses. The existing annexe will be preserved, and the original stone wall will be reconstructed. The design continues the local material palette of Llangathen, featuring a dark timber facade inspired by traditional buildings and agricultural barns. Slate roofing with thin eaves, characteristic of the area, is used throughout. Additionally, the robust stonework, commonly found on local structures, is incorporated into the heavyweight element of the L-shaped building.
