RPA is supporting Monmouthshire Housing as QS/EA on the enabling works for the redevelopment of this vacant and obsolete social housing complex.
The project will deliver 4 x two bedroom houses & 9 x one bedroom apartments, providing much needed affordable housing. With the existing buildings now cleared and removed, the site is ready for its next chapter.

We’re delighted to announce the practical completion of the new boat storage facilities for Minerva Bath Rowing Club and Bath University Boat Club.

Located on the River Avon, the project has delivered a new steel framed boatshed and land training facility, expanding capacity for boats and equipment while helping to future-proof the clubs for the next generation of rowers. The development also includes ramped access and permeable paving to enhance accessibility and sustainability.

RPA is proud to have acted as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor on this exciting project and would like to thank everyone involved for their collaboration in bringing it to a successful completion.

A great project to reach the finish line.

We’re pleased to have completed the new Dan Y Mynydd Extra Care Scheme, with handover taking place in the next week. Acting as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor, we’re proud to have supported the delivery of this important development.

Delivered in partnership between Rhondda Cynon Taf Council and Codi Group, the scheme provides 60 modern extra care apartments for people aged 50+, helping residents live independently in a safe, accessible and supportive environment.

The development includes:

60 fully accessible, self-contained apartments with fitted kitchens, ensuite bathrooms and telecare technology. Communal lounges, dining and activity spaces, a commercial kitchen, hair salon and day care centre.
An EPC A-rated building incorporating energy-efficient M&E systems, renewable technologies and targeting BREEAM Excellent.
A big thank you to the client, design team, contractor and everyone involved in delivering another successful project.

We’re incredibly proud to share that RPA’s James Christian was awarded the RICS Heritage Award on Wednesday evening for the Sker House project, following a nomination by Michael Davies Conservation Architects.
This fantastic achievement recognises the dedication, collaboration and expertise of everyone involved in the restoration of this remarkable Grade I Listed building. Even more excitingly, the project will now go forward to the RICS Regional Awards in October.

RPA had the pleasure of providing Quantity Surveying services, helping to restore and rebuild the remaining section of this now private property. The project included the creation of a three-storey living and library space, carefully designed to honour conservation requirements while seamlessly connecting to the already restored main house. By working sympathetically with the original materials and architectural character, the project has helped preserve one of Wales’ most significant historic homes.

Dating back to the 16th century, Sker House is described by Cadw as “one of the major Elizabethan houses of South Wales” and remains one of the country’s last great Elizabethan houses.

Congratulations to James, the project team, and everyone whose hard work made this award-winning restoration possible. We wish the team every success in the regional awards this October.

Another year at the Community Housing Cymru Housing Conference in Llandrindod Wells, a regular fixture in the RPA calendar and always a great opportunity to catch up with people from across the housing sector.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the curry in the evening. Somehow, we managed to squeeze everyone around one table—which made for a great night!

A wonderful evening for RPA, alongside Jones Brothers, celebrating the 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner of the Wales Air Ambulance Charity.

It was an honour to celebrate 25 years of this incredible charity, with the evening made even more special by the attendance of HRH The Prince of Wales. RPA is also proud to be involved in the pre-contract phase of the charity’s new air base in North Wales, supporting its future life-saving service.

Congratulations to everyone involved on this fantastic milestone.
