Another great renewable installation completed ⚡️☀️

We recently installed a Sigenergy Gateway with a 12kW inverter and battery storage, allowing the homeowner to power their home using solar energy throughout the day. Even better, in the event of a power cut the system will automatically switch over so the house can continue running from the battery.

This system includes 30 × 470W solar panels, complete with bird protection.

As part of the installation we also fitted a Sigenergy EV charger, allowing the customer to charge their electric vehicle using their own solar-generated energy.

Another Loxone Smart Home completed ✅

We not only installed the smart system in this property, we also designed the lighting plan, carefully layering the lighting throughout the home to create the right ambience, task lighting, and feature lighting in every space. The automation then ties it all together seamlessly.

Wall switches control lighting scenes and music, with blinds being added at a later date. The wall switch also acts as the thermostat for each room, keeping everything simple and intuitive - say no to wall acne.

The wall switch in the master bedroom and by the front door can turn off all lights and music throughout the entire house and arm the burglar alarm with a triple click, perfect for bedtime or leaving the house.

Presence detection is installed in every room, switching lights on when you enter and off when you leave. These same sensors are also integrated into the burglar alarm system for added security.

The doorbell plays through the speakers, but only at the times and in the rooms you’ve chosen.

This one features full whole-house audio. Play the same music throughout the house or different music in every room and if an intruder breaks in, they’ll get the full force of the burglar alarm through the speakers while all the lights flash.

⚡ Electrical works completed for our wholesaler of choice, CEF Newport!

This one involved some groundwork preparation:
🧱 Forming and pouring a new concrete base for a solid pedestal mount
🔌 Installing and commissioning a 3-phase floor-mounted EV charger

We also installed some under-counter LED tape in aluminium profile for a clean, modern lighting upgrade to show off their new signage.

Another quality install by the team ✅

Today we finished a full energy system featuring a Sigenergy Sigenstor 6 kW controller, 9 kWh battery storage, and a 7 kW solar array on the roof.

As part of the project, we also replaced the main consumer unit, which had been added to poorly over the years, with a new purpose-built unit.

In addition, we installed a dedicated solar consumer unit in the summer house, replacing the old RCD unit with a new purpose-designed setup to support the solar and battery system.

Top effort from the team to get these 7 bollard lights installed.

Along with the final electrical connections and bollard light installations, we also completed all the excavation and building works on the project.

A single Nightmatic photocell controls all the lights, automatically adjusting to seasonal light changes and switching the lights off in the early hours to avoid unnecessary energy use.

Another Hive Eo Mini Pro 3 EV charge point successfully installed.

The property built just last year, came with provisions for an EV charger. However, the dedicated EV circuit had been incorrectly installed on an RCD shared with other circuits.

We also found that the SPD (Surge Protection Device) had no line connection, making it completely useless. This was due to an oversight by the original electrician during the consumer unit installation. We corrected this by modifying the consumer unit to install a dedicated RCBO for the EV charge point and connect the SPD at the same time ensuring it functioned as intended.

Installing the charger was straightforward as a 6mm cable had already been run to a double socket outlet on the exterior wall — we replaced the external double socket outlet, reusing the brick dust to patch and blend the old fixing holes, leaving a clean finish.

The consumer unit was relabelled to reflect the new configuration. Another clean, professional install from the team.

A 3-phase EV charge point we installed at an industrial unit where we had previously completed work. Since we had already replaced the distribution board, integrating the EV charger was straightforward.
