Radar calibration set-up 🎯
Modern vehicles rely heavily on ADAS systems, and the radar behind the front bumper plays a big part in features such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning.
For a calibration to be carried out correctly, the vehicle needs to be accurately measured and the calibration equipment positioned in relation to the vehicle’s centre line.
That’s where equipment like the TEXA MATE and cone come into the process — helping us establish the correct positioning before carrying out the radar calibration.
It might look like a few targets and measurements from the outside, but accuracy at this stage matters.
