🚧 Project in Progress – South Wales
We kicked off this renovation & conversion project with major groundwork and internal restructuring – and here’s a glimpse at the journey so far:

🔹 Full groundwork completed for external extension
🔹 Structural walls removed to create open-plan layout
🔹 Ceiling stripped, exposing joists for electrical and plumbing access
🔹 First fix plumbing & electrical underway
🔹 Demolition done – space is now ready for transformation

We’re turning one house into two beautifully planned homes – one with 4 bedrooms (2 en-suites) and the other with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a stylish open kitchen-living area.

🏗 Flooring transformation – from raw concrete to polished marble
Here’s a full breakdown of one of our recent floor installation projects, from start to finish:

🔹 Step 1: Raw Base Prep
We began with a full clean and level of the concrete subfloor — checking for stability, cracks, and alignment.

🔹 Step 2: Uncoupling Membrane Installation
We installed a high-performance orange uncoupling membrane to prevent cracks and support moisture management — a critical layer for tile longevity and durability.

🔹 Step 3: Plumbing & Pipe Prep
Water lines and underfloor elements were set in place before the final layers went on, including protection panels for long-term safety and insulation.

🔹 Step 4: Floor Protection Layer
A full grey Proplex RE layer was laid to protect surfaces during remaining site work — keeping everything clean and damage-free.

🔹 Step 5: Marble Tile Installation
We finished with premium large-format marble tiles, professionally aligned to give a seamless, clean and luxurious finish throughout the hallway, kitchen, and main floor areas.

This project involved the full reconstruction and tiling of a previously damaged and uneven staircase and patio.
