Tough week this one was. It was very hot and we had an oil tank and boiler to remove. Down a very steep path and steps. 6 radiator upgrades and some primary pipework upgrades to allow for flow. Most of the house was on 10mm copper. But checking the load to each circuit proved that we didn't need to upgrade them. That's the whole point in doing the maths. Makes the £9000 voucher go as far as possible to the system upgrade, minimise disruption to the customer and property, maximise performance and system efficency.

A wall mounted Grant heat pump r290. Primary Pro used for external pipework. Cylinder was fitted under the stairs where the oil boiler was previously, so no room lost.

All I hear is you can't fit heat pumps into old houses. Yet again, another customer has trusted us to desgin and install this system. And yes, it's old stone walls. These systems are actually better for old houses as they help combat the damp with the heating method it uses.

FYI the customer did the base and soakaway before anyone comments🙈

Unbelievable effort last week by the team to complete this work in the heat and furthermore the work in the loft area.

Theis is the new Vaillant UK aerotherm plus 3.5kw 2026 in anthracite.

Full room by room heatloss showed that we could desgin to 41dc and not need to change any radiators.

Lovely neat work completed. External pipework insulated and sealed with Primary Pro

A recently installed 3.5kw vaillant aerotherm plus and unistor pure. The customer was coming off oil, so has benefitted from the new £9000 grant. Full heatloss to calculate running costs and performance of existing emitters. By doing this we seen that there was no need to upgrade any of the existing system. This system was also on 10mm copper but not a problem as some may think. Desgin flow is 45dc.

Lucky enough that the customer had a gazebo set up for the wet weather.

Strong performance deliverd by the team on this installation. Always delivering the best we can no matter what difficulties the job presents. This was a .uk aerotherm plus 7kw hp matched with a mini store. External pipework finished to the highest standard with and all joints glued to make them water tight. valves to maximize flow rates.

A recent installation of an .uk aerotherm plus 7kw. Using .pro lagging, ensuring to glue all joints. Note the corners have been pulled. This is our preferred method to minimise joints on both copper and the insulation.

This week's installation consisted of a 3.5kw .uk aerotherm plus unit replacing this gas boiler that was costing to much to repair to justify keeping. Customer was keen to go renwables and with this costing less than a new boiler replacement, it was a no brainer.

With clever software helping to work out the existing cylinder efficiency, we were able to save the existing cylinder for the customer to save on cost.

Well done to the team on getting this done in the heat. Some loft work was done aswell and that was seriously hot.
