Our Carlisle depot team are currently supporting key client Nexus with works at Ponteland Road Bridge, helping to replace the bridge base plates.

Using one of our Liebherr A900s, the team has assisted with thimbling out the rails and carrying out a skim dig on either side of the structure to create the required clearance. Once the new base plates are installed, sleepers and ballast will be reinstated before the rails are thimbled back into position.

The project will conclude with a ballast top-up and final site brushing, ensuring the line is ready for service.

Our Salsburgh depot recently supported track maintenance works on the Edinburgh Trams network, helping to keep Scotland's capital moving in the lead up to the Edinburgh Fringe festival.

Using specialist rail-mounted plant, the team helped ensure equipment was delivered safely and efficiently during overnight possessions enabling the programme progress smoothly throughout the works.

Our Beckingham Depot team has recently supported a significant phase of works on the North York project, supporting Network Rail's Works Delivery Doncaster Track team 🙌

Across a 12-week programme of midweek possessions, the team helped deliver embankment stabilisation works, formation widening and new track infrastructure, improving the resilience and performance of the railway.

🤝 Thanks to effective planning, strong stakeholder engagement and a commitment to safety, the programme was delivered efficiently while maintaining progress throughout.

Our Story Geotech team continue to support the safe and effective design of rail infrastructure, recently undertaking three open hole rotary boreholes to 40m at Brewery Turnback on behalf of InoRail.

The works have been focussed on identifying:
🔹Coal seams
🔹Coal mine workings
🔹Potential voids

Going forward, the information obtained from the works will help to support the design of proposed OLE foundations.
