Why your flat roof needs a specialist (not just a roofer) 🏠 ☔

In Cumbria, we get over 140 wet days a year. That constant dampness is what kills traditional felt roofs.

Most roofers use "off-the-shelf" kits and glue your roof down. It’s quick and cheap, but in our climate, glue is usually the first thing to fail.

I also see many roofs where coatings were painted directly onto plywood fixed with hundreds of long screws. The problem? Those screws act like tiny thermal bridges, pulling the cold from the outside straight into your warm home - which can lead to dampness and hidden rot.
