No matter how much or how little you use your fire it is always best practice to have it inspected every season.
This fire looked well until around 3m up and a large hole had appeared with bricks missing.
I have never brought loft insulation down whilst sweeping so a few bricks are most definitely missing.
Do not use sign issued and repairs will be made.

This stove pipe had opened up slightly due to the old rope being perished.
New rope and silicate cement later and all is well.

Back to the 24/7, 365 days a year Christmas 🎅 room, got to admit it always makes me smile walking into here.
Two stoves swept and serviced and a full set of bricks fitted to one unit which was a tricky task but got there in the end.

What a beautiful holiday home this is, can be yours for only £3,000 a week !Attention to detail in this home is amazing.

Safe to say the the door rope didn’t fair too well.
Swept, serviced and new rope fitted.
Work done on a couple more units while in South Shields ready for the colder weather.
