After years of ongoing repairs that failed to resolve the issues, the customer decided that a full roof replacement was the best long-term solution.

We stripped the existing roof, removing all tiles, the Velux window, and the old boarding.

Any damaged rafters were removed and replaced where necessary before installing new insulation throughout.

The roof was then re-boarded with new OSB sheets and covered with a breathable membrane.

A new low-pitch Tapco synthetic slate roof was fitted and a low pitch Velux window, along with new lead flashings, fascias, and guttering.

An awesome transformation but most importantly happy customers.

Day out in Dumfries today fixing a leak/damp around the chimney caused by a number of things.

This roof is boarded and should be have been fitted with counter battens this has caused the roof to sweat and has lead to the felt becoming wet and rotten causing the boards to drop and the battens to rot.

We have also fitted a new dry ridge system on the full of the property to help with ventilation.

This chimney was is very poor condition. My team and I have reduced its size by 12 corses of bricks and re pointing leaving it in a near new condition.

Busy weekend getting this one finished just in time Christmas 🤶

Customers are over the moon with there new roof. No more leaks to worry about and mind at ease.
