Sowing nasturtium seeds 🏵

What you will need
🏵 Nasturtium seeds
🏵 Multi purpose compost
🏵 Container with drainage holes or a spare patch in the garden
🏵 water
🏵 Labels

Riley sowed the seeds in a Container from last year so topped it up with fresh compost before sprinkling the seeds. Covered the seeds lightly with soil then watered and labeled 🙂

Riley helped me plant the potatoes up at the weekend.
The variety is Charlotte second earlies which give a good harvest with lots of good size spuds and delicious flavour 🥔

Sowing carrot seeds

What you will need

Medium to large container with drainage holes/vegetable bag/small plot in the garden.
Compost.
Carrot seeds.
Water.
Label & pen.

What to do

If you are sowing in container or veg bags
🥕 Fill container with compost
🥕 Sprinkle the carrot seeds evenly
🥕 Cover with a thin layer of compost
🥕 Label the container
🥕 Water well

If you are sowing the seeds in the ground
🥕 Rake over the soil gently to create a fine tilth like bread crumbs
🥕 Make rows of shallow drills
🥕 Sprinkle the carrot seeds evenly into the drills
🥕 Cover lightly with soil
🥕 Label the rows
🥕 Water well

Keep the containers or plot moist and watch the seedlings pop their heads up 🌱

Here we have a to do list for your little ones for May! We will add some photos and videos of step by step guide on what and how to do it this week, keep your eyes peeled for this.
Below we have written a list of things you’ll need to complete these tasks:

What you need list:
🌷Carrots seeds

🌷Large pots/ vegetable bags/small plot in the garden
🌷Multi purpose compost
🌷Labels
🌷Water

🌷🌷MAYS TO DO LIST;🌷🌷

Apologies for the late post, it’s been a busy bank holiday weekend! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine we have had, although it’s been a bit grey the last couple of days. Fingers crossed for some more sun shine soon☀️

Below is a list of things to be getting on with through May, lots going on and enough to keep us busy! Before we know it, we’ll be in the middle of summer. How exciting☺️

Sowing sunflower seeds

You will need
9cm pots with drainage holes
Multipurpose compost
Labels
Sunflower seeds (whichever ones you prefer)
Water

🌻 Fill the pots with Multipurpose compost
🌻 Place one seed per pot, push in and cover with soil
🌻 Write on the label and stick it in the pot
🌻 Water the pot
🌻 Place in a greenhouse or on a sunny window sill
🌻 Keep the soil moist and watch your seedlings grow

When the plants are big enough we will plant them into larger pots or in the garden with a video to show you how 🙂
