Completed phase 2 & phase 3 of this large building in Carnoustie. Over 700 square metres, 3 storey high roof on the main part of this property seen us strip to the rafters and replace all the timbers. We came off the job to allow the painter and joiners to do their thing while we returned at the winter. Start of this years weather didn’t help us but all completed and looking pretty tight.

We are in the process of another strip and re-slate just along the road on church street if you’d like to have a look at our ongoing works.

We would also be delighted if you would think of your next roofing projects large or small carried out by ourselves.

We have another couple of projects completed that shall be posted shortly.

With our busy schedule last year we never got a chance to post our summer/autumn roof… while I’m twiddling my thumbs with the constant rain I’ve had an opportunity to show off the roof we completed for the lorimers’s. Loved working for the family, gave me the option to show what we can do and think we finished it well.

We started this job with a full strip and make wind and watertight to allow the painter to come in who was Callum at CJB Decorator who done an amazing job. Follow his brace to see the before and after. If you ever need any painting and decorating done he’s been my go to guy since he started due to his ability of workmanship and reliability.

We finished the roof off in Spanish barlossa, there was a rear dormer that unfortunately we had to almost take back to scratch due to bad workmanship previously but we made good with long hours that paid off with the outcome.

There are a lot of amazing roofers we coordinate with in the Angus and Tayside region and hope to think we meet that criteria. If we’re too busy we can provide you with their details.

Taking this opportunity also to send my thoughts to those roofers with this weather 😅 until the time comes I’m sure they’ll fill they’re guts with a few beers (calm before the storm)

Would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas when it comes. We’ve worked up to the last minute and couldn’t be prouder of the squad for being there for the business. We’ve had a great year workwise and every customer has been amazing. We’ll be back at it in the new year to start fresh.

Hope you all enjoy the festive period and don’t worry about the hangovers… this is the one time of the year us Scot’s are allowed to top up the next day with no conscience

Haven’t posted for a while due to our busy schedule but we thought we’d share one from this year we done in Bonnie Dundee. Our team worked hard to make this millimetre perfect for the perfect customer… drinks and snacks every day were always appreciated. We move on to their daughters roof next year after they decided we’re no bad at what we do 😅

Thought we’d throw in a wee but of decoration seein as there’s traffic at a standstill on the kingsway that might want a bit of eye candy.

Big thanks again to Keiran and all the team at Scotia Roofing & Building Supplies Ltd - Dundee Branch in Dundee that always provide us with the best of materials at the best prices. We don’t mess around with cost cutting and they assure us their products are invaluable to the guarantees we give.

We are taking bookings for next year but in the meantime, watch this space as we have a few more projects we can’t wait to share

Been doing major works to 3 tenement blocks over the last year. Some delays with weather, decisions to be made with communal effect and those pesky seagulls but glad we’re finally complete all 3.
This is the one we done the full works for right to the rafters. Happy with the outcome and all the owners now have a watertight roof.

The neighbouring property also asked us to sort their issues that were completed successfully at the end of last year with a good test over the winter proving no water ingress anymore. They had a full flat roof replacement with repairs over the slated area.

Got a wee day in the cherry picker from the lads at Clearview Cleaning Services Carnoustie Ltd . Great service for us lads and saved the customers a pretty packet. Will definitely be using them as much as we can for all the higher stuff.

We haven’t had much time to stick our roofs up here we’ve completed over the last months but there will be an overload of them at the end of the year 🙌

Thought I’d stick this one up we’ve recently completed for a lovely family on Carnoustie high street. This is phase 1 of the project with the remainder of the roof to be done with some fancy slate work next April.

This one seen us take the roof right back to the timbers, we managed to save the majority of the timbers below but wouldn’t manage much more water ingress. We replaced the flat roof in a 3 layer torch on system with added insulation. Windows had to come out and re-fitted renewed in lead for a long life expectancy. We used brazilian graphite slates which I think look great, difficult to work with but a good solid slate supplied by Scotia Roofing & Building Supplies Ltd - Dundee Branch.

We already have a very busy diary up until June/july 2026 and looking like the rest of the summer shall be snapped up.
