Found this beautiful little caterpillar during a garden tidy up last week. Apparently it's a knot grass moth. I'm always excited to see a new creature that I've never come across before. 😊

One of my customers has just sent me such a lovely photo. She told me her dog did not like walking on her gravel path that she had. A few weeks ago I started laying in some stepping stones to help my customer access the garden easier but another upside is that her dog has taken to the path and it's using it as a sunbathing spot as the sun warms the paving stones for her. ♥️

Here are a few photos of this garden's progress so far.

No need for chemicals when it comes to aphids. A carefully positioned bird feeder works a treat. A few days ago my little spindle tree was smothered in aphids. The stems were black with them.

So I bought a coconut bird feeder and hung it next to the tree. This was totoo draw the birds attention to the aphids. It worked well. With nesting season upon us the birds need these insects to feed their young. They have almost cleared my plant in just days.

Well fed baby birds and one happier, healthier spindle tree.

Something to brighten your already bright and sunny morning. I have a nest of at least 8 baby bluetits in my garden. This morning they are looking very close to fledging as they wait at the door for food from one of their very very busy parents.
