🪳 German Cockroach Treatment Completed Today 🪳

Today we attended a property with a German cockroach infestation. During our inspection, we found multiple ootheca (cockroach egg cases) hidden in their harbourage areas.

Ootheca are protective egg capsules produced by female cockroaches, containing multiple developing eggs. Finding these is a clear sign of an active breeding population and helps us target our treatment effectively.

Another infestation identified, treated, and brought under control by MC Environmental.

Another successful job completed today tackling a large carpet moth infestation 🐛

This one was a serious case, with widespread activity across multiple rooms. Carpet moths can cause extensive damage before you even realise they’re there—feeding on natural fibres like wool carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

🔍 What we did:
• Full inspection to identify hotspots and level of infestation
• Targeted treatment using professional-grade insecticides
• Advice given on aftercare and prevention to stop re-infestation

🚫 The result: Infestation brought under control and the property protected going forward.

Another busy day at MC Environmental 🐿️

Today we attended a job where squirrels had taken up residence in the roof space of a garage. After carrying out a full inspection, we installed humane live traps to safely deal with the issue.

We’ll be returning in 24 hours to check the traps and take the next steps to resolve the problem for our customer.
