Virgo Safety Ltd are proud to announce that we recently became a corporate sponsor for a local teenager in his bid to compete for Team England in K1 kickboxing at the ISKA World Championships in November 2026 in Madrid.

In his bid to attend and compete, Jacob has also been proactive in raising funds of his own which has recently included a 24hr kickboxing event at his local club with fellow kickboxing youngsters. The video below is a snapshot of Jacob (red shorts) during those 24hrs - quite a feat and during the June heatwave!

All the attendees at the World Championships are self funded so raising funds is vital otherwise they aren't able to attend.

As a business we are happy to support young talent and help in whatever way we can and Jacob is showing tenacity, strength and commitment in achieving his goal and that is to be commended 👍

Busy time here at Virgo Safety Ltd and the first half of the year has been one of our strongest yet since the business started in October 2021.

We have Clients across a variety of sectors and in May we started working with a new small refurbishment and joinery workshop company based in South Yorkshire and last week we met with a potential new Client in the manufacturing sector. Both of these have been as a word of mouth referral for which we are grateful.

We also had a great early stage meeting last week about a potential new add-on to the business and hopefully we can share more about that in early 2027....!

One of our Clients recently asked if we could carry out refresher Face Fit Testing for their 10 employees who would be working across two separate sites, one in Salford, the other in Manchester City Centre.
We were happy to oblige and after carrying out refresher training, all 10 were successfully tested wearing half face masks with FFP3 filters.

January 2026 - the busiest start to a year since Virgo Safety Ltd started nearly 4.5 years ago!

We have Clients with new projects commencing (between 1 month to 2 year durations) who we have been assisting with documentation and getting sites set up. These will all be supported also with monthly H&S visits.

For the third consecutive year we have commenced the annual Academy H&S audits for a valued Associate. These will run until mid year.

Numerous H&S Inspections within the construction, refurbishment and M&E sectors undertaken.

Several in person H&S Consultancy days.

New Safety Management System finalised for a Client which is set to be rolled out in February.

And 4 new Client enquiries 👍

A flying start to the year and looking forward to what the next 11 months will bring.

That's a wrap for Virgo Safety Ltd for 2025! And time for some rest, relaxation and reflection.

2025 has been Virgo Safety Ltd's busiest and most successful year to date after 4 years in business which has also seen us expand with Gary Moore joining the Company in April 2025 to further expand our service offering, knowledge and experience within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors.

We would like to say a big thank you to our valued Clients and our trusted Associates for the collaborative working over the course of the year. It keeps going from strength to strength.

2026 is shaping up to be a further year of growth, expansion and further collaborative working (more exciting details on that to be shared soon) so that Virgo Safety Ltd can provide additional services to our Clients and trusted Associates.
