Sadly we have had a project cancellation. Due to planning and personal reasons our customer has decided not to go ahead with their build which was scheduled to begin later this year. WANTED! I need someone who can weld up a couple of bespoke lead flashings. I can get everything folded, I just need a lead welder! The job is in Tatworth.

At last, my perseverance through all the wet weather has paid off, the roof is fully weather tight! 🥳 It’s always a good moment to get the EPDM finished and roof light fitted! (And before anyone says anything, they’re temporary cappings fitted until the final ones can be installed after rendering is completed! 😉)

It’s always satisfying to complete a project, this one isn’t necessary big but it’s provided its own challenges. Accessibility proved tricky for the digger work, the ground conditions made installing ground screws hard work, and the odd shape and 3 dimensional nature of the space meant a bit of head scratching to work out how to best use the space. But the end result compliments the garden perfectly, will be low maintainance, it makes use of an otherwise dead space and (most importantly!) provides an excellent spot for a relaxing G&T as it’s a lovely afternoon suntrap (when the sun shines!). The client is going to paint the blockwork, and backfill the decorative gravel against the fence, and contemplate what type of ballustrade they would like. But for now, my work here is done!

Due to the sudden cancellation of our latest build project we now have unexpected availability. We cannot pull forward future contracts so whether it’s a full build, an extension, annexe or home office/garden room, we now have favourable availability.
