The window that bit back…

Michael ended up with 6 stitches on this one — a reminder that working with original glass and timber always carries risk, no matter how careful you are.
He’s all good, thankfully.

Stripped back, repaired where needed, and rebuilt to retain the original character.

All ready to be refitted tomorrow.

A recent sash window restoration completed using a repair-first approach.

Extensive decay, heavy paint build-up and failed sections carefully stripped back, repaired and overhauled before full redecoration.

Original character retained, smooth operation restored, and ready for many more years of service.

Somerset & surrounding areas.
