A recently finished warm roof in Wilmslow. The house was being massively extended and had flat roofs to all sides including a walk out balcony and a roof housing a large orangery. It turned out great and is now ready for coping stones and roof light to be fitted.

First job back after Christmas yesterday due to the weather. A dormer roof in Cheadle hulme that had been done for 3 years and was leaking badly into the customers bedroom. Roof was fully stripped off down to the lovely tongue and groove deck, new lead outlet added then an Icopal three layer felt system to seal it.
Turned out well and looks great 👍🏻

Another nice, new warm roof completed this week. It was freezing in Macclesfield but it will be nice and cosy inside with the 150mm foam insulation topped in a three layer Icopal system.

A recently converted balcony in Romiley that was leaking badly into the apartment below. The builder had lay insulation directly on to a block and beam system and then used a grp roof to seal. Laid over with concrete and steel bar then flagged it in Indian stone. It was a big job but we stripped it off completely, laid a vapour barrier and bedded cut to falls insulation in glue. The roof was then waterproofed in an Icopal three layer system and tiled in 20mm porcelain flags on a pedestal system. What a difference it made and the results were stunning as can be seen in the photos.

Another flat roof we have recently completed in Wilmslow. It was done less than 2 years ago using a fibreglass system and was given a 25 year guarantee. The original felt roof was never stripped off and just boarded over trapping in the old, damaged boards. The roof leaked from day one but the company refused to come back stating it wasn’t their fault. Be aware of long guarantees as some are not worth the paper they are printed on. We stripped the roof right back to the original joists, boarded it out in 18mm external grade plywood and then waterproofed in a charcoal grey Icopal system. Lead flashings were inserted into all walls and trims were used to finish all external edges. A proper job with a proper guarantee.

A recently completed job in Wilmslow. Done in fibreglass less than a year ago and the company had boarded over the original flat roof. The roof was pouring into the clients house everywhere. We stripped the roof back to the original straw board and re waterproofed using a three layer Icopal system. It was finished in charcoal and black trims to perimeter edges.

New office block completed today at RF Fieldings haulage in Woodford. Finished in a charcoal mineral with black trims to all edges. 👍🏼👍🏼

A new one for us today on a garage roof in Hazel Grove. The customer had a fibreglass roof fitted 18 months ago and it had leaked pretty much from day 1. When we started to remove the old roof we quickly realised the roof had just had the seams sealed and the roof painted with no matting fitted. Be careful when choosing your tradesmen as there are a lot of con men out there !!

Today’s job in High Lane replacing a fibreglass roof. Velux lights were removed and re-installed after the icopal system was installed. Looking good 👍🏼

This week we converted an old tile to a brand new flat roof. The roof did not have a great fall and water was leaking around the rooflights. We removed the existing roof and boarded it out in external grade plywood. On top of this we applied a 3 layer Icopal system finished in charcoal grey, black trims to perimeter roof edges and lead flashings to external walls. In place of the velux rooflights we fitted triple glazed frameless rooflights that not only look great but offer amazing thermal values

We also convert old flat rooves. The customer wanted a roof that was slightly larger so he could incorporate lights underneath his soffit to give a more contemporary feel. Grey fascias and gutters were also finished with a charcoal grey roof and lead flashings to walls.
