A closer look at our workplace….

This week, we're taking a closer look at one of our projects in the Midlands, where members of our team have been working for many months.

Seeing a project evolve from its earliest stages through to the final touches is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. These photos showcase just how far the site has come!

With completion now in sight, it's great to see the project taking its final shape. A huge thank you to the team for their continued efforts throughout the journey. 👏

Last week, the lads were making the most of the sunshine in Essex as they pushed on with site preparations.✅

They spent half a day clearing away overgrown vegetation to get the area ready for kerbing installation. Once the site had been cleared, the kerbs were carefully positioned and set out in preparation for concreting.😎

Concreting works then got underway on Friday, marking another significant step forward in the project. Great progress from everyone involved. 💪

Our Team up in the midlands completed some tidy work last week, benching internal pipe penetrations within a 6m deep wet well chamber.

Due to the confined space environment, all works were carried out under strict safety controls. A scissor lift was lowered into the wet well chamber using a 21T excavator to gain safe access to the penetrations.

All penetrations were sealed and finished within the day to provide a watertight connections through the concrete structure.

A great step completed safely and successfully by the team. 💪 👏 ✅

At one of our sites, the support legs on the lorry trailers, when bearing full load onto the concrete over a prolonged period, had caused the surface to deteriorate, resulting in rutted and damaged areas.

To rectify this, the damaged concrete was broken out and replaced with new slabs. Following a two-week curing period to allow the concrete to achieve sufficient strength, 16mm nylon trailer support plates were installed to help distribute the load and prevent future deterioration.👍🏼👷🏼✨💪🏼

Over the past few months, Seabrook Developments has been delivering a fantastic project, completing line marking throughout one of our valued client’s warehouses.

Using Solidlux paint allowed us to achieve a sharp, clean finish, while the instant UV curing process meant areas were ready for use immediately after application. This significantly improved efficiency and helped keep the project on schedule.💪

We designed this custom setup to give our client the perfect platform to showcase what their machines can really do. The steel frame was fabricated by a specialist supplier and paired with pre-cast concrete stairs to create a strong, clean, and functional display.

We’re currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Bridport, as well as a Project Coordinator based in our Chelmsford office – please note as a project coordinator you are required to travel and work at various sites.

The Assistant Site Manager role is a great opportunity for someone with construction experience who’s looking to develop their career in site management and gain hands-on experience across a range of projects.

The Project Coordinator role will involve supporting projects across the UK, with travel required from Essex to our sites. This is ideal for someone organised and proactive who’s looking to build their experience in a fast-paced environment.
