Another Zappi car charger installed which in combination with a 16 panel solar system we installed should keep the customer away from those nasty leccy bills 😁. This was connected to a new consumer unit housing breakers for both the charger and solar.

Something different today. Entering into the big boy world of CNC machinery. Firstly a huge thanks to my pal Richard Windell for showing and guiding me through these beast of machines. Getting an in-depth look at how they work and how they are powered has been a big learning curve and shows the opportunities at becoming an electrical engineer and how this new world I’ve entered can be so varied. Having Rich’s expert advice helped and trust me change the seals for a cylinder for a major piece of equipment was a new concept. Today has been a good day 😊

Great job today helping a friend out. Customers board kept tripping which was diagnosed as an earth fault. Tried to identify where the earth ran to but looked like it was buried under concrete. So decided to run a new length or armoured cable with a new earth electrode buried in the garden. Tested the new installation replacing the old junction box with a switched spur, tested and all is good.
