DRY RIDGE SYSTEM INSTALLED, FASCIA & SOFFIT & GUTTERING REPLACED & CHIMNEY RE-POINT IN MOULSHAM - CHELMSFORD MJK Roofing

This ridgeline was failing massively and allowing water to ingress into the property.
This customer had already paid someone in the past for a re-point which was again failing. As re-points on ridgelines are not a permanent solution or fix. Please see the job pictures below.
The customer then chose the dry ridge system for a replacement installation. Which is the modern way of installing ridgelines. Cemented ridgelines are still absolutely fine and work just as well.

GREAT BADDOW - CHELMSFORD MJK Roofing

The Redland Regent concrete tile's pitch goes down to 12.5°. Making it an ideal choice for low pitched extensions.
Also used on this job was the Keylite low pitched roof window. Velux also do a low pitched window, but the cost is slightly more expensive.

COWBOY JOB CORRECTED BY MJK Roofing RE-ROOF IN CHELMSFORD - ESSEX

Here's a fibre cement slate lean to roof what was put on completely wrong!
The pitch was too shallow and the slates were put on upside-down! Also the window used wasn't roof compatible!
The lead cover flashings on the wall and around the window were all failing and allowing water to ingress into the property.

The roof was completely stripped off and re-felt and battened.
A low pitched concrete tile was installed, along with a new Velux window.

The lead cover flashing on the wall was renewed/replaced. Redone correctly, to a professional standard.
