We’re proud to have worked alongside BEW Electrical Distributors Ltd to deliver a new solar PV and battery storage system at Chelmsford City F.C.

Installed on the clubhouse roof, the system forms part of the club’s wider plan to generate enough renewable energy to offset its annual electricity use and support its Net Zero 2030 goal.

It’s always great to support the Clarets on the pitch, but helping power them sustainably off it is even better 💙⚡

Jim Wellard joined Laser in 2016 from Chelmsford Electrical, and those who worked with him for 25+ years will remember the same things: his kindness, his humour, and the way he always showed up for others.

⚽ What a result for Chelmsford City FC!

A huge congratulations to the Clarets, who stormed to a 4–1 win over Braintree Town on Saturday — live on national TV — to book their place in the Second Round of the FA Cup! 🙌

Goals from Jason Adigun, Jesurun Uchegbulam, and a brilliant brace from Lyle Taylor sealed a well-deserved victory and sent the home fans wild at the Melbourne Stadium.

As proud sponsors, we couldn’t be happier to see the team’s hard work, passion, and belief paying off.

A huge congratulations to Chelmsford City Football Club on their dramatic 4–3 win over Chippenham Town, securing their place in the First Round of the FA Cup! 👏

It was a thrilling game that had everything!

Goals, drama, and a late winner from Laser-sponsored Louie Kudiabor in the 86th minute to send the Clarets faithful wild!

🏆⚽ We only went and won it!

Huge congratulations to Team Laser, who were crowned champions at the Barratt Homes Charity Football Tournament last week, held at Writtle Sports & Social Club.

With Justin Chambers leading the team as manager on the day 🙌

After some mixed performances in the group stages, the team dug deep when it mattered most.

We beat Redrow 2–0 in the semi-finals, before securing a 2–0 win in the final against the hosts, BDW 💪

The weather was glorious, and the atmosphere brilliant with some pretty sublime football along the way.

Special mention to Redrow’s Millie, who was without doubt the Player of the Tournament 👏

Huge thanks to Barratt Homes for hosting another fantastic event and to Tom Wright (MD), Tom Wright (Technical) and the team for all their efforts in organising (yes, two Tom Wrights — no relation, just brilliant organisers with the same name!).

Last year, we were proud to be the official sponsors, this year, we were just as proud to take part, support two incredible charities (The Little Edi Foundation and MenSheds) and, to top it off, bring home the trophy 🏆
