We are a SME (Small Medium Enterprise) electrical engineering firm with an impressive track record of delivering projects and services to some global blue chip clients. Our approach is to build long lasting client relationships based on first class customer service putting safety first; providing a competitive price and being responsive due to being a lean SME organisation. . Our ethos is “ Get it

right first time every time ! ” we cannot be complacent about this approach it comes through putting “Safety First” in our thinking and planning and is part of our organisational culture of “Zero Harm”. Our organisation has seen the doubling of its turnover in the last five years to currently over £7M, and we believe that critical to our success is growing and learning with our clients. This can only be achieved through a long term partnership approach lasting years and not just over a single contract period. We have over 40 electrical engineers in our organisation many of whom are well experienced ex- utility time served, who our clients depend on and ask for by first name.

Power Testing now operates as part of MARCH, following our acquisition last year, working alongside colleagues across the business to strengthen capability, scale and delivery nationwide.

Being part of MARCH brings together our specialist expertise in electrical power testing and commissioning with the wider resources of a multidisciplinary engineering provider. This enhances how we support clients across the UK, from complex, safety critical environments to everyday operational needs.

Many of our customers, partners and suppliers are already familiar with this alignment. You’ll now start to see it reflected more visibly through our brand, logo and communications, while the expertise, service and standards Power Testing is known for remain unchanged.

BRAD TOMLIN – PROMOTED TO TRAINING MANAGER

We’re delighted to announce that Brad Tomlin has been promoted to Training Manager at Power Testing Limited, effective 7th April 2026.

Brad brings nearly 20 years of experience in Power Testing, and throughout his time with PTL he has consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, commitment, and leadership. In his new role, Brad will play a key part in driving our training programme forward, supporting the development of both our internal teams and our valued clients.

At PTL, we pride ourselves on delivering expert HV & LV electrical engineering and power system services, helping organisations keep their electricity systems operating safely and efficiently.

We are absolutely delighted to announce the promotion of Will Ager to Junior Project Manager!

This month, we say farewell and congratulations to Tony Churchill, who is retiring after an outstanding 31 years with Power Testing Limited.

Tony has been a valued and respected member of our team since 1994, contributing his deep knowledge, steady leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence. His dedication has left a lasting mark on our company and our people.
