We’re proud to celebrate two brilliant milestones within the MACL team:

Leila Stammers reached 25 years’ service on 29 January 2026.

Leila joined MACL back in 2001 as a receptionist and has since worked her way up to Office Manager - a brilliant example of growth, dedication and the huge value of experience within our business.

Peter Calver reached an incredible 35 years’ service on 1 February 2026.

As a General Foreman, Peter has been a constant presence on site, bringing leadership, knowledge, and consistency to projects over decades.

Long service like this doesn’t happen by accident. It reflects commitment, loyalty and the strong relationships that sit at the heart of MACL.

Thank you both for everything you’ve given to the business over the years - and congratulations on these well-deserved milestones. 👏

We’re pleased to confirm that MACL (alongside MAP under HHCGL) has achieved the ISO 14001:2015 certification.💪

ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems, helping organisations reduce environmental impact, improve efficiency and meet regulatory requirements.

For us, this is about embedding responsible environmental practices into day-to-day operations - not just ticking a box.

The certification reflects our focus on:

✅Managing environmental risk

✅Reducing waste and improving resource efficiency

✅Strengthening compliance

✅And continuously improving how we operate

A big thank you to the teams involved in achieving this and to our clients and partners for supporting our commitment to higher environmental standards.

We’re proud to share that MACL has achieved Achilles accreditation, following a full audit in December 2025.💪

With an overall score of 99% for our site audit and 96% for our office-based audit, this independently verifies the standards we hold ourselves to across compliance, health & safety, ESG and financial stability.

Achilles is recognised across energy, construction, utilities and the public sector as a robust third-party verification body - providing assurance to clients and partners that supply chain due diligence, risk management and performance are being taken seriously.

This accreditation reflects the systems, processes and people behind our work - and our ongoing commitment to operating to the highest standards across everything we do.✅

We’re delighted to share that MACL has secured a new groundworks project for Weston Homes Plc at Warrish Hall, Takeley.

The scheme includes infrastructure and groundworks for 40 units, starting January 2026.

Winning work with a new client is always significant. It reflects confidence in our approach - particularly our focus on health, safety and quality - and opens the door to a new long-term relationship.

A big thank you to the teams across pre-construction and delivery whose commitment and perseverance made this happen.

A strong platform to build from as we head into the year ahead.💪

MACL has been appointed by Redrow to deliver S278 works, infrastructure and groundworks at Kings Gate, Shenfield.

The project will see works delivered to 100 units, with a January 2026 start.

Securing new sites with existing clients, particularly in a challenging market, is a strong endorsement of our pre-construction approach, site delivery standards and collaborative working.

We’re pleased to confirm MACL has secured the next phase of works at The Mulberries, Witham for 💪

This follow-on phase covers Phase 5 infrastructure and groundworks for 110 units, with works starting in January 2026.

Winning follow-on phases is always particularly rewarding. It reflects trust built on delivery - consistency, quality and professionalism on site - and we’re proud to continue our work on this development.

A great example of long-term client relationships built the right way.☺️

🎄 Christmas can be especially tough for children spending time in hospital - so this week, MACL’s Leila Stammers, Daryl Bellingham and Angela Guy visited Broomfield Hospital’s Children’s Ward in Chelmsford with a van full of gifts to help brighten their day.

Lego, games, books, crafts and fidget toys bought by MACL will be given to children from newborns to teenagers who may be on the ward over Christmas.

We’re incredibly grateful to the staff at Broomfield for the care they give year-round, and we hope these gifts bring a moment of joy and comfort when it’s needed most. 💛🎄

❤ We wish the children, families and staff at Broomfield Hospital a warm, peaceful and joyful Christmas.
