🌳 Big Silver Birch Reduction in Shurdington 🌳
We were in Shurdington yesterday working on this massive Silver Birch.
With phone lines, an overhead power line, a road, specimen trees and flower beds directly beneath the canopy, it was a technically demanding job with plenty of challenges.
A perfect opportunity to throw Connor (our apprentice) in at the deep end! After arranging a network shutdown for the work, Connor climbed on a two-rope system and carefully reduced the heavily overextended branches before balancing and reshaping the remaining crown.
The result? No damage, a tidy garden, and a much more balanced tree that still looks natural.
