What an absolute pleasure it was to collaborate again with H2H Decorators, on this beautiful renovation at the standout Solberge Hall.
After H2H carried out since extensive reconstruction work, including ripping out fitted wardrobes, bathrooms, walls, ceilings to expose the full beams, then rebuilt new walls, insulated and reboarded the new ceiling lines we could finally step in and give the room the pretty that it deserved!
The walls and ceilings were refinished in Mylands marble matt emulsion using our Tecnover Testarossa airless system, and the woodwork (including the beams and bar cabinetry) in Mylands plant based MSP using the Tecnover Airbass HVLP system.
Additional features were the treated using a variety of methods including copper finish and verdigris to the upper access panels between the beams, and then that statement roll top bath which was flipped from baby blue with silver feet to brown and copper marble effect with antique copper feet.
Once complete, H2H and Mark Edwards joinery stepped in again to finish off the space with the installation of the beautiful acoustic panelling, dark oak wood flooring and the installation of a bespoke bar.
