This 100ft tarmac driveway was showing it's age so revitalised it with a power wash, holes filled with tarmac around the edges and finally re painted it withTarmac paint. Looks brand new again and set off by replacing the old red stones on the side with new Golden Flint gravel. This is the 3rd wall topping fence we have done up at Waldridge village as people value their privacy and security more these days. What to do with a classic 1980s wall that looks old fashioned and outdated. Couldn't be knocked down as it would compromise the gate pillar post so came up with the solution to bring it up to date by covering it both sides with a ultra modern venetian fence, looks amazing now. Problem solved by 4 Seasons.

Well we broke the record for our longest sleeper planter by 4 inches, 60ft and 4 inches to separate the formal lawn from the wild garden at the top. Clients had moved into a bungalow that had outdated walls in the garden so we demolished them and replaced with modern sleeper edging borders and built in the giant sleeper planter so client could add so colour and different plants to her garden. We also created 2 stoned areas for pots to go on. The best of both worlds a nice lawn and a wild forest behind it, fab garden.

As anyone who has bought a new build they will tell you the builders never give you any patio space or even lawns these days. This was the case with this lovely house on the new estate at Pelton Fell. Client wanted the original patio extending into a usable space and a new lawn installing. We even levelled a drain cover out that was severally sloping after a poor installation by the builder. Client now has a great outdoor space and a new lush lawn. A visit to Teal Farm, Washington this week where the client wanted a low maintenance North facing front garden. We removed all the old turf and bushes and installed a heavy duty w**d membrane then covered the two areas with Golden Flint chippings which don't tarnish over time unlike some chippings. We also suggested putting in two sleeper planters as a feature where client could plant a few easy maintenance srubs or small trees. We love to get creative and come up with our own ideas. We got a call from a returning client who had moved to a different house and asked us if we could do anything to modernise the patio area at the back of the property. It was very dated with old column pillars and the patio slabs that were two different colours.
First we removed all the dated pillars from the wall and replaced the 4 sections with modern venetian slatted fencing. Then we cleaned the old paving and dyed it with a special paint to brighten the while area up. The results are stunning and we have created a lovely bright modern area for them to sit out this summer.
