We're pleased to have completed this commercial solar PV installation at Tofts Farm Depot in Hartlepool.

The new system features 277 solar panels with an installed capacity of 148.20 kWp, helping the site generate its own renewable electricity and reduce energy costs.

🎬☀️ Lights, camera… solar action.

This rooftop at Reel Cinema is now generating its own renewable energy thanks to a new 126.26 kWp solar PV system installed by the Genfit team ⚡

With 236 solar panels now in place, the system is expected to generate over 106 MWh of clean electricity annually while helping reduce the site’s carbon emissions by over 20 tonnes every year 🌍

Commercial roofs have huge potential for solar and this project is a great example of turning unused roof space into long-term energy savings and sustainable power generation.

Not every solar installation has to sit on the main roof of a house ☀️

This project shows how solar can be designed around the way a property is actually used, with panels installed across both the outdoor living space and the separate garden building to maximise generation and make the most of the available roof space.

By using multiple roof areas, the system is able to capture more energy throughout the day while integrating neatly into the overall layout of the property 👌

Rooftop works are complete on this solar PV installation ☀️⚡

These images show the step-by-step progress on site, from the mounting system being installed, through to the panels being fitted and the final roof works being completed with bird protection in place.

The system is now fully installed on the roof, with the electrical works and commissioning still to go before it starts generating clean energy.

A great effort from the team bringing this one together safely and efficiently.

First crane lift underway at the new TJ Morris (Home Bargains) Distribution Centre in Doncaster 🚧⚡

We’ve been on site carrying out the initial crane lift, carefully positioning key equipment onto the roof ready for the next phase of the solar PV installation.

On a project of this scale, it’s all about coordination — from lift planning and site logistics to making sure everything is delivered safely and efficiently.

With equipment now in place, we’re ready to move forward and start building out the system ☀️

A big project team effort alongside McLaren Construction Group, who are delivering the new build development.

More progress to come as this one develops 👌
