Today’s job started with regrouting at a client’s property, but after noticing a few loose tiles, we decided to investigate further. Once the tiles were removed, we discovered poor workmanship from a previous installation.

The kitchen is almost complete. Unfortunately, the rain caused some delays today, meaning I couldn’t get the kickboards cut and fitted. However, we continued making good progress, and the gas engineer successfully installed the gas hob and issued the relevant certification. Just a few finishing touches left to complete! Oh yes the multi shelve cupboard was made to fit the space on the left so adding more storage

Kitchen installation is nearly complete. Several adjustments and additional cuts were required due to incorrect measurements on the original plans. Despite the extra work involved, progress has been good. Today’s job also highlighted how useful the right tools can be, especially when working alone and needing to get the job done efficiently and professionally.

Another job completed! 🧱

Repaired a hole in an exterior wall that had previously been covered with a piece of wood. With the rainy season approaching, the client wanted a more permanent and reliable solution.

The hole has now been properly bricked up, providing a much better finish and helping protect the property from the elements.

This morning, I visited a customer to repair a faulty light switch, securing a loose cable and replacing a stripped screw.

While there, I also inspected his dishwasher, which was working intermittently. I discovered the unit had become loose, preventing the door from closing properly and activating the sensor. This was identified and resolved.

As I was leaving, a neighbour approached me after seeing my van advertising. She asked if I could install a blind that had been sitting in her living room for over eight months. Fortunately, with my next appointment scheduled for later, I had time to help her out and get the blind fitted.

Another day, another happy customer! It's a great reminder that advertising works and that going the extra mile for customers can lead to new opportunities. 💪🔧
