The project has seen us strip out three former retail units to form one large unit with new shop fronts and the creation of five mall facing kiosks.

The once refrigerated shed is now an ambient shed!

14 weeks into a 20 week programme and we're nearly finished including additional works to demolish 14 dock levellers.

All the insulated panels have been collected and sent to Grimsby for recycling into new building products. That's 14500m2 of panels avoiding land fill. Collected and recycled FOC, avoiding landfill and a big ESG tick!

Phase 2 which we are currently tendering will see a refurbishment scheme to include a reclad of the walls and roof, an extension, offices refurb, external works and new transformer.

These units were ordered and delivered ahead of contract to avoid cost increases and manufacturer storage charges.

We have successfully handed over 45,000 sq ft of a former supermarket in Salford.

The unit has been subdivided into three separate units, with two already pre-let and fit-out work set to commence imminently.

Externally, we are progressing with the construction of new brick planters and a planting scheme, along with the removal of escalators, installation of new car park stairs, and hard landscaping.

Another landlords enabling works project to strip out two levels of a former fashion retail unit at the Bullring. Works included removal of all previous fit out, M&E, lifts and stairs with subsequent deck infill and passive fire stopping.

Level 7 is ready for handover to the fit-out contractor and level 9 will become a landlords remote store which will complete at a later date.

We have all but finished at the majestic Carmel House in Sheffield.

Escalators removed, trimming steel and deck infills complete with concrete and screed placed at ground floor level and guard rails installed to the escalator pit.

New drainage pop ups, new fire alarm and lighting at basement level completed. Fire stopping and intumescent painting to new steels completed.

We have some additional electrical work to install a Bemco unit and that will complete shortly.

Site is set up and ready for 20 weeks of phase 1 enabling works.

The scope is to remove the 11kva supply and transformers, strip out the offices and plant rooms, remove the diesel tanks and remove all insulated panels to the warehouse chambers.
