To all my valued Customers, Family and Friends:

I would like to thank you all for the business, love and support over the last 3 and a half years I have been in business (since May 2021).

Unfortunately, I have some very sad news as due to ongoing ill health, I have no alternative than to wrap up my business and to focus on my health.

Many thanks again and I wish you all every success, health and happiness for the future.

Message from Dave:

WOW - 3 years since I started my decorating business and I have absolutely no regrets. I absolutely love it but I couldn't have done it without all my fabulous Customers and also couldn't have done it without my fabulous team: Fiona for doing all Facebook posts, admin and accounts and not forgetting my partner in crime Mark also for his fabulous work.

Hopefully I'll be starting back at the beginning of next year, once I've fully recovered from my recent major cancer surgery.

Once again, I'd like to thank you all for your kind messages and support through this tough time for me and my family.

Hi everybody - just thought I would give you a quick update on Dave. After almost 3 weeks in hospital and 2 weeks since his major surgery, he's been discharged and is now starting the long road to a full recovery. It'll be a good few months till everything has healed, and then Dave will be back working once he's 100% fit.
Thanks again for all the messages of support you've sent to Dave, he truly appreciates it.

Hi everybody, I hope everybody is keeping well and looking forward to some much needed sunshine? It's Fiona, Dave's P.A. (again!) with an update on Dave. After a lot of complications, Dave has finally had his operations, and is now, with the care of the fantastic doctors and nurses, on the road to recovery. I popped in to see Dave this afternoon in hospital - it was so good to see him in good spirits, and walking (albeit slowly obviously after major surgery). He's in a lot of pain (has a massive scar :o ), but every day is a step towards his recovery and we all can't wait to see him fully recovered and back at work. Speedy recovery, from all your friends and family and clients and colleagues ###

Hi everybody

It’s Fiona, Dave’s P.A. again. I just wanted to let you know (with Dave’s permission of course), as a few people have been asking, that after recent stays in hospital, and a whole load of tests, Dave’s diagnosis requires him to have a major operation, which is scheduled for later this month.

Dave isn’t able to work now, and won’t be able until a few months after the operation, so he’s passing any work over to his co-decorator Mark Stacey, so if you’d like any decorating doing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Dave or myself on here, and we will put you in touch with Mark.

I’m sure you will all want to wish Dave all the best for a successful operation and a speedy recovery afterwards. Dave will be recuperating with his lovely Cocker Spaniel, Dexter, pictured below with Dave.

Hello everyone!

As this year draws to a close, I’d like to thank all my family and friends for the support after what has been a really tough year for me personally, but also and especially to my lovely Customers past and present, I truly thank you for your new and continued custom.

I’ve really enjoyed another year working with my colleague Mark, and also my PA Fiona, and between us, we’ve had a successful year, but we’re all really looking forward to the Christmas and New Year break with our families.

We wish you all a very Happy and Healthy Christmas and an even Happier and Healthier New Year.

I had a little helper while decorating one of my Clay Cross client's Living Room this week - meet Ozzy. 😼 He popped in and must have thought "Hello, what's going on here??" So he kept a close eye on me as you can see throughout the photos. 👀

The Ceiling has been painted in Leyland's Brilliant White matt emulsion, the Walls in GoodHome's 'Clonarf' matt emulsion, and the Doors and Skirting Boards in Dulux's quick-drying Brilliant White eggshell.

I'm now fully booked up to Christmas 🎅🌲 so if you're looking for decorating to be done in the New Year, please give me a call, or drop me a message!

The ceiling was painted in Leyland’s Brilliant White vinyl matt emulsion, the walls in Dulux’s Easycare ‘Vanilla Sundae’ matt emulsion and the Skirting Boards, Architraves and Window Sills in Dulux’s Brilliant White diamond eggshell.

The ceiling was painted in Leyland’s Brilliant White vinal matt emulsion, the walls in Dulux’s ‘Rock Salt’ matt emulsion, and the Architraves in Dulux’s Brilliant White diamond eggshell.

Hi everybody, here’s a lovely job myself and Mark did last week for one of our clients in Staveley. Three areas of her house were painted, as follows:

Hallway (this post 1 photos):
The ceiling had 2 coats of Leyland’s Brilliant White matt emulsion, the walls had 2 coats of Dulux’s ‘Coastal Grey’ matt emulsion, and the Skirting Boards, Architraves and Loft Hatch were painted in Dulux’s Brilliant White diamond eggshell.

We also coated all Interior Doors with Ronseal’s Diamond Hard Clear Varnish.

I’ve only got a couple of weeks left to fill before Christmas now, so if you’d like to book a painting/decorating job, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
