Another project completed recently, installing a 12-camera CCTV system to provide coverage across the customer's property and outbuildings.

Due to the distance and layout of the site, running network cables back to the NVR wasn't practical for every location. To overcome this, wireless transmitters and receivers were installed between buildings, allowing reliable communication back to the recording system while keeping disruption and cabling to a minimum.

⚠️ A good example of why knowing safe wiring zones is important ⚠️

Recently attended a fault where a picture had been put up on the wall above a socket. Unfortunately the nail went straight through the cable hidden in the wall, causing damage to the wiring and it had to be repaired as shown.

Electrical cables are should run vertically and horizontally from sockets, switches and accessories — known as “safe zones”. Drilling or nailing into these areas without checking first can easily damage cables hidden beneath the plaster.
