As a gas engineer, I’m always out servicing other people’s boilers… but I still make time to service my own.

Cold radiators? Uneven heat? This is usually why.

Job today was a customer who’s been struggling with poor circulation, cold spots, and uneven heating throughout the property.

The issue was a heavy build-up of sludge (magnetite) inside the system restricting flow and increasing resistance.

Carried out a full MagnaCleanse flush with treatment chemicals, breaking down and removing the debris.

Loads of muck pulled out (see photos) — and the system is now heating properly again with even heat across all radiators.

This is one of the biggest hidden causes of heating problems, and it only gets worse if left.
