One of our most challenging roofs to date from start to finish. Neighbours each side one was fantastic went above and beyond for us to which we shown our appreciation an gave them a gift at the end.

The other did all he could to “try” stop the job and make things hard for us. Bitter about me not wanting to shuffle across his roof we no scaffolding thinks my nicknames Spider-Man! Anyway we got it done despite battling 32 degrees sun an then torrential rain! One extreme to the other. Ohh and letters from building trade etc to no avail. we are 100% legit so if you want to waste your money in trying to prove otherwise crack on.

Anyway on to the job removal of old tired slate roof install new breathable membrane new laths and weight tested for the flat concrete tiles, new lead flashing and soakers on chimneys. Dry ridge system with new ridge caps. Dry verge installed on apex’s all for returning customers.

Recent gutter job completed. Replaced guttering previously installed incorrectly by another firm, removal of old guttering install a new black ogee style guttering with new downpipe. Installed bird spikes to keep away unwanted guests 🐦 Customer very happy and kindly shown their appreciation with a bottle each.

Due to the weather on the roof today feeling like we getting burned alive 🔥 ☀️ we’ve decided to call it a day.. I can’t put the lads through that torture look after them they look after you.. back at it tomorrow stay safe an plenty of sun cream guys.

We removed the old and tired felt and gravel, laid our 3 layer felt system including 2 layers of underfelt and a grey mineral top felt. New black square gutter and downpipes

Another little job from last week,

We rescued this roof by removing this chimney below the roofline aswell as replacing rotten joists and purling supports for both sides. New breathable felt, laths and tiles 👌🏻
