Couple of recent Consumer unit changes following on from an Electrical inspection (EICR) prior to carrying out the work. Main house consumer unit upgraded along with a new Garage unit with main Bonding to Gas and Water Stop tap also upgraded. Great review also received from another happy customer. Don't believe it, including the bulbs there was 140 individual components to build this one lounge light. Every glass part needed individual different lengths of hanger then hooked on to the light. Just over an hour to build and install. Great design by the manufacturer.

Still beats me why people do it when we are only a phone call or message away, but just attended an emergency to a total loss of power. Turned up and the homeowner had changed two switches themselves as they thought it would not be a big enough job for an electrician. They managed to completely bullseye the live/earth wires with the socket screws at BOTH locations. It's just cost more to rectify than if we had been asked to change the switches for them. No job to small for us and always free estimates.

Another full rewire comes to an end. Screwless faceplate sockets and switches throughout. Downlights where requested, mains interlinked smoke and heat detectors to all floors with battery backup, Cat6 internet point to the second floor, outdoor lighting and power point. Full RCBO protected consumer unit with surge protection and plenty of spare ways left available for future use. All required certification passed on to customer. Been a pleasure to have done this one as it came from a recommendation from another previous rewire. Please get in touch for any free estimates.

Not posted in a while and a lot been going off lately behind the scenes with the Electric vehicle charge point installations we carry out, just to mention we are now Myenergi electric vehicle charge equipment approved installers and also OZEV registered for the residential government grant scheme where applicable, both certificates can be provided on request whilst conducting any free initial site visit and estimate which are always available.

Bit of a change this week, New Zappi Electric Vehicle charger installed, new outdoor double socket as requested by the customer and an updated fully RCBO protected consumer unit with Surge protection all for one more happy returning customer.

Photos probably don't do this job justice, maybe a video next time, but just a few photos from a job using the weird science of Kinetic wireless switches. The customer wanted to change lighting to 2 areas into 2 way switches but did not want the normal mess of chasing walls out plus the additional cost of making good so we have installed Kinetic switches. No mess and a happy customer.

Bit of a first for us today, customer asked us if we could swap a picture light in the Dining room, straight forward until we realised it required the triple extension ladders. At least Dean Allan still has a head for heights.

Steady day working on a new build today. New outdoor socket, new outdoor PIR lights to the garage, replacement outdoor lights, upgraded lounge and dining room lights along with a new LED Mirror light to the ensuite.
