New newel posts, rails and stop chamfer spindles.

We weren’t sure what we were going to discover behind some of the boards on this one but the end product couldn’t have been better. Made a great before and after!

New workbench build! A well over due build for the work shop! My old bench was a temporary mess that I made too big and not practical. I designed this on Sketchup to maximise storage and functionality then sent plans over to Freebird to cnc all the components for me. Once I was building it up I did think of a few improvements I could have made but overall more than happy with it. *french cleats will be upgraded before use*

Finally got to have a play with the H-Jig from The Handle Jig ! I’ve had similar jigs before but this offers a little more, more range for the smaller measurements but what I like most about it is how it uses the handle or k**b to save working out centres! Leaving less room for errors!

Another staircase transformation. There was some unknowns on this one as so much was hidden with the existing ply handrail but couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the customer was equally as happy!

• Oak Shaker Doors •

Full process making up Oak shaker doors (minus sanding) start by cutting all the components then I chamfer all the rails and stiles. I join them using dominos then it’s onto the Router table for the groove. After assembling I oiled them and they were ready for fitting!

Sometimes it comes down to style but I used to personally prefer the middle of the rail at the top but now I’m a middle man! I do like a push to open though!

Measure twice, cut once… never has this been more important… after already asking Oakstoredirect.Com to replace a miss measured piece of oak for this project next day… I still nearly got it wrong… This was not the content I was planning when setting the camera up but I caught a near fatal moment!!

Bespoke oak media unit fitted for Mansfield Fireplace and Stove Centre to the customers specifications! We worked with the customer to design the unit from the height of the tv to the finish of the oak.

A combination of Finsa UK boards and solid oak facings supplied by Oakstoredirect.com finished using Rubiomonocoat Mist 5%

Remote controlled dimmable LED lighting and other electrics including additional sockets by KM Property Services

Soft close hinges and adjustable shelving as standard!
